Both matches feature a nation that appeared at the same stadium during the first round. The Emerald City will host a round of 32 elimination match featuring Belgium and Senegal at Seattle Stadium. The winner will also play in Seattle on July 6 against the United States or Bosnia and Herzegovina in a round of 16 elimination match, which will also be the last tournament match hosted in Seattle. Vancouver will host a round of 32 elimination match featuring Switzerland and Algeria at BC Place Vancouver. The winner will also play in Vancouver on July 7 against Colombia or Ghana in a round of 16 elimination match that will be the last match in Vancouver.
