Trip Planning Essentials
Fly Directly to Snohomish County: Seattle Paine Field International Airport
A world-class sporting event deserves a world-class travel experience. Seattle Paine Field International Airport is the region’s newest design-forward airport terminal, and it’s bringing national and international visitors to the Pacific Northwest in style — and without the traffic and hassle of a busy, crowded terminal. Located less than 25 miles (50 kilometers) from Seattle’s Lumen Field, Paine Field (PAE) offers direct flights to nine destinations, including flight times of less than 3 hours to catch all the big matches in Los Angeles and San Francisco. No matter where the beautiful game takes you next summer, kick the travel chaos by flying PAE.
Seattle Stadium — Seattle, WA
Seattle Stadium is not your average sports stadium. It’s a state-of-the-art soundscape that whips fans into a frenzy that’s loud enough to register on the Richter scale (see “Beast Quake” and “Swift Quake”). Seattle Stadium was built to host the beautiful game on the world’s largest stage — and it’s less than 15 miles (24 kilometers) from Snohomish County. You can easily access the stadium from SnoCo by car or bike. For a hassle-free experience that puts you mere steps from the stadium, you can explore our friendly public transportation options, which include the bus, light rail, and Sounder Train.
Note: Lumen Field is rebranded to "Seattle Stadium" for the duration of the soccer tournament in 2026.
BC Place — Vancouver, BC
Vancouver is a vibrant international city at the heart of beautiful British Columbia. As one of Canada’s two host cities, fans from around the world will get the unique experience of witnessing the beautiful game on world’s biggest stage at the architectural marvel known as BC Place Vancouver. This stadium is no stranger to hosting massive sporting events, including the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2010 winter games and the finals of the world’s largest women’s international soccer tournament in 2015. From Snohomish County, you can reach Vancouver by car, bus, or train within 2-3 hours. Located along the I-5 corridor between Seattle and Vancouver, Snohomish County is the perfect basecamp for fans who plan to catch matches in both iconic cities.
