Day 1 explores Snohomish County’s vibrant valley towns, where local brews, welcoming main streets, and outdoor escapes are always near. From relaxed community parks to lively downtown energy, this day balances flavor, shopping, and easy adventure.
Mountlake Terrace: A laid-back stop for local craft beer, family-friendly dining, and neighborhood parks.
Brier: Small but memorable, offering quiet trails and beloved, local-only dining gems.
Mill Creek: Polished yet approachable, with an elegant town center for shopping, dining, and strolling.
Bothell: A dynamic basecamp blending historic charm, riverfront recreation, standout dining, and creative local culture.
Day 2 finds you at the intersection of vintage charm and modern flair. Stroll redbrick downtown corridors, sprawling trails and parks with lakefront views, or catch an event at the fairgrounds. You might even see a hot air balloon or two. It doesn’t get any better.
Snohomish: Take your time, hurry up, the choice is yours, but don’t be late to experience craft cocktails, farm-to-table dining and all of the antiquing that your little #cottagecore heart desires.
Monroe: A crossroads where folks came together – a place where rivers converged, and railroads intersected. Today it’s the place where Highways 2 and 522 meet up – and it’s the ideal jumping-off point for Pacific Northwest adventure – either up the mountainous Skykomish or Snohomish River Valleys, or to the nearby coastline.
Lake Stevens: A lakeside city with a mix of parks and trails, neighborhoods, and an expanding town center with plenty of options for shopping and dining.
Day 3 meanders through the towns molded from muraled, sun-baked bricks and smalltown stucco storefronts and fields shaped by the confluence of the north and south forks of the freshwater Stillaguamish River. You’ll discover how staying close to the land and the community fosters an appreciation for authenticity.
Arlington: A city of grit, vigor, and artistry. When you visit Arlington, you become part of its story — one that’s best appreciated over a cup of no-nonsense diner coffee that reflects the neon lights of another passing day in paradise.
Marysville: "Strawberry City” boasts a natural beauty that’s distinctly PNW. From unique birdwatching to sweeping views of Mount Rainier and the Cascade Mountains, this city is ripe with adventure—take a bite!
