Events in Granite Falls
Steam trains. Classic cars. Haunted houses. Oh my! Granite Falls is a small town that goes big when it comes to time-honored traditions, events, and festivities. Whether it’s the garden-fresh delights of the summer farmers market, the engine-pumping excitement of Railroad Days every fall, or the holiday magic of the Christmas tree lighting each winter, Granite Falls has great events that are worth the trip, no matter the season.

Granite Falls Railroad Days
Granite Falls has a rich and proud history in logging, mining, and railroad work. Every October, the town celebrates its golden era of steam trains that brought ore and timber from the Cascades to port along the Everett and Monte Cristo Railway. The celebration includes a parade, a market, food trucks, and several activities for kids and adults to choo-choo-se from.

Show N’ Shine
Rev your engine for a day of classic cars, American muscle, and chrome-filled fun. The Granite Falls Show ‘N Shine cruises into town every August for a display of the best cars, trucks, and motorcycles around. There’s even food trucks, competitions, and raffle prizes. Show ‘N Shine is the oldest continually running car show in Washington state, and it’s a must-attend event for car enthusiasts visiting Snohomish County during the summer season.
