Events in Stanwood
Stanwood is home to several great events throughout the year. Whether you’re into birding, hand-blown glass, car shows, live music, holiday festivities, or any of the other exciting seasonal happenings in Stanwood, you’re sure to find an event that’s worth the trip.
Every February, art fans, collectors, and enthusiasts from around the region visit Stanwood and Camano Island for a unique 10-day treasure hunt to discover clues that can be exchanged for hand-blown glass art. The annual Northwest Glass Quest is one of the more exciting and creative ways to explore the natural beauty of Stanwood-Camano Island—and possibly take home a piece of beauty, handmade art.
Stanwood-Camano Island is a popular destination for birders, especially during the annual return of the snow geese and swans. The phenomenon is celebrated during the Snowgoose and Birding Festival. It’s a chance for those with an affinity for anything avian to explore exhibits, artists, vendors, bus tours, and speakers. Oh, and of course, the birds!
For those about to rock...we salute you with an invitation to Stanfest. This rockin’ weekend summer concert series at Church Creek Park features live music, a beer garden, kids activities, food trucks, and a vendor market. Stanfest has all the fun and flair of a major outdoor concert in a small-town, family friendly, and relaxing environment.
